KPV, the fourth peptide in the Klow Blend, reduced the infiltration of neutrophils, inflammatory cells, by about 50% in a colitis model (Dalmasso, Gastroenterology, 2008).
The Klow Blend combines GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500 and KPV, three amino acids of alpha-MSH that enter the cell through the PepT1 transporter and block NF-kB there.
It is studied for reactive skin and digestive comfort: the PepT1 transporter is abundant in the gut, and KPV reduces the cytokines TNF-alpha, IL-1 and IL-6.
- Half-life
- Short for all four; the effects last through gene expression and tissue rebuilding.
- Route
- Subcutaneous injection, a single pen.

Salt form: as stated on the lot's certificate of analysis.
The base: GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500
GHK-Cu increases collagen and elastin, BPC-157 blood vessel formation, and TB-500 limits fibrosis.
KPV: NF-kB blocked inside the cell
KPV enters cells through the PepT1 transporter and blocks NF-kB, the factor that drives the production of inflammatory cytokines: less IL-6 and TNF-alpha.
On reactive skin, chronic inflammation breaks down collagen faster than it can be laid down. PepT1 is abundant in the gut, where the same mechanism reduces inflammation of the lining.
Why four instead of three
KPV acts through the PepT1 transporter and not through melanocortin receptors (Kannengiesser, 2008): it does not affect pigmentation. Unlike classic anti-inflammatories, it does not block the COX enzyme, whose inhibition can irritate the stomach.
Studied effects and observed timelines
Skin redness and reactivity: KPV blocks NF-kB inside the cell
One to three weeks
Digestive comfort: the PepT1 transporter, through which KPV enters the cell, is abundant in the gut
One to three weeks
Radiance, then firmness: collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, through GHK-Cu
In humans, as a cream: three months of application
Tendons and joints: favorable results for BPC-157 in a 2019 review
In the laboratory: within a few days to a few weeks
What you may feel
- Reaction at the injection site.
- Brief fatigue or mild headaches in the first few days.
- Mild digestive discomfort at the start, reported on occasion.
Stop and consult if
- Allergic reaction (hives, facial swelling).
- Intense abdominal pain or blood in the stool: have it evaluated.
When to abstain
- Active cancer or a recent history of it.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Wilson's disease or any disorder of copper metabolism.
- Diagnosed inflammatory bowel disease, without your prescriber's supervision.
- Minors.
Anti-doping : Two of the four components (BPC-157, TB-500) are prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
The effects to watch for, and how to reduce them
This sheet is educational. It replaces neither a diagnosis nor follow-up: for any medical condition, pregnancy, breastfeeding or current medication, talk to a health professional.
GHK-Cu has human trials as a cream; KPV, an anti-inflammatory mechanism described down to the molecular level; BPC-157 and TB-500, a laboratory basis in repair (see each entry). No trial has tested the injected blend: the combination rests on the complementarity of the four mechanisms.
1998 · Abdulghani et al., Disease Management and Clinical Outcomes
Pilot study in 20 people: creams applied to the skin of the thigh for one month, biopsies before and after
Increased collagen production in 7 people out of 10 with the GHK-Cu cream, versus 5 out of 10 with vitamin C and 4 out of 10 with retinoic acid. The study measured collagen under the skin, not facial wrinkles or firmness.
2015 · Pickart, Vasquez-Soltero and Margolina, BioMed Research International
A review of three controlled 12-week trials in 41 to 71 women, with a GHK-Cu cream applied to the skin
As a cream on the skin, these trials report, depending on the trial, an improvement in wrinkles, laxity, density, and firmness of the skin. No trial has studied the injection or the blend: these are results for a cream of GHK-Cu alone.
2008 · Dalmasso et al., Gastroenterology
Human intestinal cells and an experimental model of colitis
KPV enters cells through PepT1, inhibits NF-kB, and markedly reduces inflammation.
2019 · Gwyer et al., Cell and Tissue Research
A critical review of studies on musculoskeletal repair
Favourable results for BPC-157 on the repair of tendons, ligaments, and muscles, in studies done mostly in the laboratory.
Who is the Klow Blend for?
For reactive skin, tendon inflammation or a digestive goal: to the three skin and repair peptides (GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500), it adds KPV, which blocks NF-kB inside the cell.
Does KPV change your complexion?
No. KPV keeps only the anti-inflammatory part of alpha-MSH, not the one that activates pigmentation.
Isn't four peptides too many?
Each targets a different stage: GHK-Cu collagen, BPC-157 blood vessels, TB-500 cell migration, KPV inflammation. The protocol provided with the product organizes the doses; the rule is still to introduce one thing at a time.
