What is common, what is less so, and what to do if something is out of the ordinary.
What most people notice
Nausea is the most commonly reported effect, especially with the first injection. It usually eases from the next injections onward.
Hot flushes can also occur in the hour that follows.
What can also happen
- Headaches.
- A reaction at the injection site.
- Occasional vomiting.
- A mild, temporary rise in blood pressure in the hours that follow the injection.
- With frequent use, skin darkening in patches, which can persist.
To reduce these effects
- Use it only on occasion, as set out in your protocol, without shortening the time between injections.
- Sit down for a few minutes if a hot flush occurs.
- Avoid a heavy meal just before the injection if you have already had nausea.
- Limit alcohol that day: it can worsen nausea.
- Do not combine it with Melanotan II on the same day: both act on the same receptors.
