Peptiva, the others, and the vial
Rock-bottom prices are everywhere. Here is what they keep quiet: what you get, what you don't, and what it really costs you.
A rock-bottom shop doesn't sell a peptide. It sells a bet, and the bet is yours.
The starting point
Peptiva
Your goal, with a guided plan that adapts to your answers.
Typical shop
A list of products and prices.
The vial
A powder, and a dose to look up on a forum.
The product
Peptiva
A pen and its pre-measured water syringe: one step to prepare it, then your dose on the dial. In the box: 12 needle tips and the alcohol swabs, nothing else to buy.
Typical shop
A vial of powder, then the bacteriostatic water, the syringes and the needles, ordered separately, and the dilution to work out yourself.
The vial
A glass vial, a label, and nothing to prove what is inside.
Light
Peptiva
An opaque, closed pen: the peptide never sees the light.
Typical shop
A clear glass vial, taken out and handled at every dose.
The vial
Clear glass on a counter: the peptide catches the light thirty times a month.
Air
Peptiva
Sealed without air, plunger all the way: nothing ever gets in.
Typical shop
Air at every draw, and oxygen degrades the peptide.
The vial
The peptide oxidizes a little more with every dose.
Contamination
Peptiva
A single puncture at preparation, then a fresh needle tip at every injection.
Typical shop
Thirty punctures of the stopper and thirty needles in a month.
The vial
The same stopper, pierced thirty times in a month.
Precision
Peptiva
The dose on the dial, to the unit, the concentration set by Peptiva.
Typical shop
A dilution calculated at home and units read by eye.
The vial
One misplaced decimal in the dilution, and it's ten times the dose.
After purchase
Peptiva
A personal plan, a weekly check-in and, for VIP members, Victor, who adjusts your protocol with you. The chat assistant answers right away, and a member of the team replies by email, in French or English.
Typical shop
A confirmation email and a contact form.
The vial
An empty vial after a month, and nobody to write to.
Education
Peptiva
A free Peptiva Centre, goal-based guides and an Academy with certification.
Typical shop
A few blog posts written for Google.
The vial
Forums, videos, and contradictory dosing.
Honesty
Peptiva
The plan also tells you what is NOT relevant for you.
Typical shop
Everything is recommended to everyone.
The vial
A generic certificate, the same for every lot, when there is one at all.
What the rock-bottom price doesn't say
No certificate per lot
A generic certificate copied from one lot to the next, or none at all: nobody can say what your vial contains, its purity, or its real weight.
No approval, no recourse
An overseas seller, a “research use only” label, an unprotected payment: if the product is bad, nobody answers and nothing is owed to you.
Customs and weeks in transit
A parcel crossing the ocean with no cold, sometimes held at the border, and a peptide that travelled for weeks at an unknown temperature.
No cold chain at all
A peptide is kept cold, from the lab to your refrigerator. International mail has none.
A powder, and everything else to do
The water, the syringes, the needles, the dilution math, the mistakes: the price shown is the price of a powder, not of a ready product.
Underdosing and counterfeits
Without an independent analysis per lot, a vial labelled 10 mg may contain six, or something else. You will never know.
Nobody to answer
A question about the dose, a reaction, a lost parcel: a form, an unanswered mailbox, or an address that no longer exists.
The real cost
Add up the vial, the water, the supplies, the losses, the risk of error, the wait and the lack of recourse. The rock-bottom price isn't anymore.
Let's say it politely
- A seller who shows no certificate per lot isn't hiding anything from you. He doesn't know what he's selling either.
- A rock-bottom price isn't a good deal. It's a product stripped of everything that costs money: the analysis, the cold, the control, the service.
- “Research use only” isn't a product category. It's a way of never being responsible.
- A powder, water bought separately, a dilution worked out on a forum: that isn't saving money, it's improvising with what you inject.
- Sensible people don't haggle over what goes into their body. They choose what is proven, prepared and followed up. That is exactly what Peptiva does.
