CJC-1295 (No DAC) + Ipamorelin
What is common, what is less so, and what to do if something is out of the ordinary.
What most people notice
Stronger hunger in the hour after the injection, an effect of Ipamorelin, sometimes with a flush of warmth or facial redness.
Slight injection-site tenderness and mild water retention are also common, a little more than with only one of the two components.
What can also happen
- Mild headaches.
- Tingling or slight numbness in the hands.
- Temporary dizziness.
- A slight increase in pulse, more likely linked to CJC-1295.
- A change in blood sugar.
To reduce these effects
- Stick to the time set by your protocol: at bedtime, the hunger and hot flushes often go unnoticed.
- A glass of water helps the hunger pass.
- Change the injection site every time.
- Follow your protocol, without raising the dose on your own: the effects of the two components add up.
When to talk to a professional
With this product, especially if you notice:
- Tingling that lasts, or new joint pain.
- Marked swelling of the hands or ankles.
- Intense thirst or unusually heavy urination.
- Unusual headaches that keep happening.
If a symptom is severe, lingers or worries you, stop the product and talk to a healthcare professional. An immediate reaction after the injection, such as trouble breathing or swelling of the face, needs medical care right away.
Specific to this product
- This blend raises IGF-1, a hormone measured by blood test: before a blood test, mention it, as it can influence the result for several days.
- Like its two components, it is not recommended with an active or recent cancer, uncontrolled diabetes, a known disorder of the pituitary (a gland at the base of the brain), and during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- It should not be combined with growth hormone, or with another product from the same family: the effects would add up.
Anti-doping: Prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (growth hormone-releasing factors and secretagogues, S2).
Where the research stands
Level of evidence: Laboratory research
Ipamorelin is documented in humans; for CJC-1295 without DAC, human data mostly concern related molecules. On the blend itself, they remain limited.
