Privacy policy

We use your information to process your orders, support you and improve the site. Never to sell it.

What we collect

Your account: name, email, preferred language, and your password, stored in an unreadable form, never in plain text.
Your orders: shipping address, phone number, items and amounts, and the name shown on your Interac e-Transfer.
Your answers to the plan questionnaire and your plans: goals, weight, habits. This is health-related information, which you provide voluntarily.
Your tracking, if you use it: your protocol (doses, injection days, weeks), the doses you take, your check-ins, your journal and, where applicable, the tracking of your GLP-1 tapering.
Your messages: those sent through the chat, those you exchange with Victor if you are a VIP member, and those sent through the Contact us page.
Your answers to the My account survey, if you take it.
Technical data: the IP address used when you signed up and the one used for each of your orders and, if you turn on reminders on your device, the notification address your browser gives us.

Why we use it

To process and deliver your orders, support you (plan questionnaire, plans, protocol), answer your questions and improve the site. To match your transfer to your order, we read the Interac deposit notice received in our mailbox.

The phone number is used by the carrier if there is a delivery problem. Together with the IP addresses used at sign-up and for your orders, it also helps us check that the same person does not receive a reward for an invited friend twice.

Your information is never sold or rented, and never shared with advertisers.

The plan questionnaire, the chat and artificial intelligence

To generate your personalized questions, your summary and your plans, and to answer your chat messages, we send what is needed to our artificial intelligence provider, Anthropic, whose servers may be located outside Quebec.

When you are signed in, the chat assistant and Victor also receive the relevant context from your account: your protocol (doses, injection days, current week), your plans, your orders, your latest check-in and your most recent journal entries. This information is used only to answer you.

The “attach my answers” box at checkout only decides whether your questionnaire answers are kept in your account for later.

Who has access

You, in My account, and our team. If you are linked to a partner seller, they can see your name, your email and your sign-up date, as well as your order numbers and the commission those orders earn them. Never your answers, your tracking or your protocol.

Our service providers, and where your data is processed

Hosting of the site and its database: a server rented from Contabo, outside Quebec.
Sending our emails: Google (Gmail).
Artificial intelligence: Anthropic (see above).
Audience measurement, only with your consent: Microsoft Clarity (see below).
Bot protection, at sign-up: Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyzes technical signals from your browser.
Reminders on your device, if you turn them on: your browser's notification service (Apple, Google or Mozilla).

When you type your shipping address, the characters entered in that field are sent, by our server, to the Photon address search service (OpenStreetMap data, operated by Komoot, outside Quebec) to suggest addresses. Nothing else is sent: not your name, your email or your IP address.

Several of these providers process data outside Quebec. We send them only what their service requires.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses the cookies essential to its operation: your login session and your language preference. Your cart is kept in your browser. No other measurement tool is active without your consent (see Microsoft Clarity, below). No advertising cookie, no retargeting.

Screen recording (Microsoft Clarity)

Only with your agreement do we turn on Microsoft Clarity, a tool that records your interactions with the site (pointer movement, clicks, scrolling) and what appears on screen, to spot where visitors run into difficulty.

Clarity always masks input fields, and we also mask My account, your plan, your questionnaire answers, checkout, your orders and the chat window: what you type and what is displayed there is not visible in the recording.

Until you have answered, and if you decline, nothing is turned on. Microsoft may process this data outside Quebec.

This agreement is also a condition of the 30 days with Victor and of the My account survey: it is then given through a separate box, when you start them.

Your choice is kept for 12 months in a cookie named peptiva-mesure. To withdraw your agreement, click "Manage measurement" at the bottom of any page, then "Decline": we delete the Clarity cookies and reload the page.

How long we keep it

Your orders: 6 years, for our accounting and tax obligations.
Your account: until it is closed, at your request. An account left inactive for 3 years, with no sign-in or order, is closed, unless it still holds a Peptiva Dollars balance.
Your health tracking (protocol, doses taken, check-ins, journal, plans): deleted when your account is closed.
Your conversations with Victor: 30 days, so he can pick up where you left off from one visit to the next, then deleted automatically. You can delete them yourself at any time with “Clear our conversation”, in the chat window.
After your account is closed, apart from your orders and the messages you sent to our team, we keep only a coded fingerprint of your email address, which cannot be read back, so that the same free trial or the same survey reward is not obtained twice.

Your rights

You can ask to access your information, correct it, receive a copy in a common format, withdraw your consent or have your account closed. You can also complain about how we handle it.

Write to contact@peptivacanada.com: we answer within 30 days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

The person in charge of the protection of personal information is the owner of the shop. You can reach them at the same address.
